Its history dates back to 1952, when José Coelho Júnior opened a restaurant and decided to expand it to turn it into a hotel. In 1965, the 32-room Toca do Coelho Hotel was opened, and the next few years his family continued the legacy and expanded the accommodation into the modern 154-room building that it is today.
It has a Portuguese cuisine restaurant with spectacular views of the sea, a lounge bar with terrace, a fully-equipped gym, a business center with two computers and two meeting rooms.
